I am excited to announce that the book Women Who Work the Waters of the Chesapeake Bay I am writing with friend and award-winning author, Mick Blackistone is completed! We are working with this incredible women-owned publishing company called High Tide Publishing and we’re expecting the book to be out by early October, 2026. Please see the page I have here about the book and the women….. they are incredible! These women work on the water as “watermen.” I am writing along with creating art and photographing the women. These women embody my art’s mission. They are strong and powerful! Absolutely the most incredible group of women I’ve ever been honored to meet and I’m thrilled to share their inspiring stories with you.

Mick will be speaking and signing books including Women Who Work the Waters of the Chesapeake Bay that will be for sale. Galesville United Methodist Church located at 4825 Church Lane. I will not be there…. It’s my birthday and my family is taking me away…. Planned before we knew about this event. My art relating to the book will be there with Mick for you to see and purchase if you’d like.
October 10 and October 11, 2026, 11 – 5 -Muddy Creek Artist’s Guild Annual Studio Tour. I will have our books available for sale. I will be working on new art and also have some art for sale. There will be multiple artist studio locations throughout South Anne Arundel County and the Annapolis area. Maps are available on www.muddycreekartists-guid.org/studio-tour-2026. I will be at the Art’s Lab of South County with a few other artists working away both days. 312 Deale Rd., Tracys Landing, MD.
